Nestled in the heart of Queens, New York, Concept Coffee offers a refreshing departure from your everyday café experience. This cozy coffee shop, located at 44-61 11th St, is a vibrant sanctuary for those who appreciate innovative flavors paired with a warm, inviting atmosphere. Concept Coffee’s unique menu draws inspiration from Filipino flavors and beyond, creating a delightful fusion that turns each cup into a memorable journey.
What truly sets Concept Coffee apart is its signature Ube Latte—a beautifully balanced beverage that artfully blends the earthy sweetness of ube with the rich creaminess of expertly brewed espresso. As one satisfied visitor, Lizz, puts it, “It’s so hard to find a good ube latte where you get the taste of the ube but not so much that you lose the latte.” And here, Concept Coffee nails that perfect harmony every single time.
The inventive drink offerings continue with their Buko Pandan Latte—a smooth, fragrant blend of pandan syrup, coconut milk, and a sprinkle of coconut flakes that evoke the tropical comforts of the Philippines, all elevated with their rich espresso base. Coffee enthusiasts also rave about their Beetroot Latte and Peanut Butter Smoothie, both drinks that challenge the norm and surprise the palate with vibrant flavors and textures.
Beyond the drinks, Concept Coffee crafts a welcoming haven for coffee lovers and casual visitors alike. Miguel Garcia shares how the staff “make you feel like a regular even on your first visit,” highlighting the genuine passion and friendliness that blossom within this quaint space, enhanced by a natural décor of thriving plants that add fresh energy and calm sophistication. Rachel Dick’s experience, stopping in for a much-needed coffee on her wedding morning, encapsulates the warmth and community spirit this place embodies—truly a coffee shop to feel at home in.
The menu also boasts luscious treats like the Ube Cookie and a flaky, buttery Chocolate Croissant that perfectly complements their multitude of specialty coffees—from a velvety cappuccino topped with coconut to a brisk, smooth cold brew that energizes with subtle complexity. Their array of espresso-based options like the cortado, alongside more adventurous offerings such as Michelada and Juniper, invite patrons to explore new flavor profiles while still enjoying the meticulous craft behind each cup.
Concept Coffee is more than just a pit stop for caffeine; it’s an experience—a perfect blend of innovative flavors, heartfelt service, and a cozy ambiance that lingers long after your last sip. Whether you’re craving a comforting hot chocolate or a refreshing iced ube café latte, this Queens gem promises a sublime sensory adventure and a welcoming space you'll want to revisit time and again.
This is such a hidden gem I was lucky to have stayed a few blocks away for my visit and ended coming here almost everyday just for the Ube Latte! It’s such a cute spot with real plants that make the atmosphere that much better. It’s so hard to find a good ube latte where you get the taste of the ube but not so much that you loose the latte. 10/10 Will Recommend
I was in the mood for something different than your standard fare coffee shop breakfast and Americano, so when I saw Concept Coffee has both Avocado Foccacia and Buko Pandan Latte, I made my way there. Both are pretty darn good, though just short of exceptional. The Buko Pandan consists of espresso, Pandan syrup, coconut milk, and coconut flakes, and while it is pretty delicious thanks for the coconut milk and flakes, I really don't taste the Pandan, which is too bad because it is one of my favorite flavors. The Avocado Foccacia did a little better and it was bursting with flavors. Their stock of avocado was a bit unripe today so the guy went to the nearby market to buy a fresh one, which is appreciated. You can taste that nutty fresh avocado flavor that complements well with the Foccacia bread. The herbs of the Foccacia made every bite a yummy one, although I didn't get enough of the red peppers coming through. The only negative comment is the bread is overly hard. I like my Foccacia a bit fluffier while balancing the crispness. I also like the overall interior decor that puts a bit of the island flavor. There is no bathroom, however.
Love this coffee shop! The staff were really friendly and welcoming. We ordered iced mocha and pandan latte -both are delicious and perfectly crafted. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great coffee and a warm vibe!
This place is a gem. The coffee is consistently excellent, the atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, and the service truly sets it apart. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do, you can feel it from the moment you walk in. They make you feel like a regular even on your first visit. Easily one of my favorite coffee spots
Leaving a review as this was my first time at concept coffee, and I have to say, this is the coffee shop everyone dreams of in New York City. Upon walking in, the staff and owners were so friendly and welcoming. It was my wedding morning, and my bridesmaids and I stopped here for a quick coffee and sandwich before we headed out for the day. As customers filtered in and we waited for our coffee and food, we noticed how there was a unique sense of community. Lots of regulars stopped by, and everyone was so kind. They even gifted me some coffee beans on my big day! (My first wedding gift of the day!) The coffee was amazing and they had fun flavors, combos, and even a fun purple coffee drink?! The breakfast sandwich was all freshly made and truly one of the best I have had in the city. If you are nearby, I highly recommend stopping by - you won’t regret it!!

During our recent trip to New York, my team and I were thrilled to try out this highly recommended cafe, suggested by a close friend. The experience exceeded our expectations! The Kape Ube Latte was a standout, offering a unique and delightful flavor that I haven't found anywhere else. Additionally, the tuna sandwich was perfectly crunchy and delicious – a definite must-try! For coffee lovers, their ground coffee is a purchase you won't regret. We highly recommend grabbing a bag to enjoy at home. Visit this cafe for an exceptional coffee experience located in Queens!
